    Join Physics students, faculty, staff and PHYS 123 speaker Alisa Walz-Flanagan for lunch at the LDC.  Meet on third Olin for the sort walk over or meet us there.

  • PHYS 123 Speaker – Alisa Walz-Flanagan

    April 1 (Friday) 1:00-2:00pm, LDC 104

    Alisa Walz-Flannigan ‘98 is a medical physicist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  She works in general radiography and informatics and has done research in a variety of imaging techniques including CT, MR and SPECT-CT.  Alisa will give an overview about what physicists do in diagnostic radiology and will discuss career options and a variety of ways to use your physics knowledge in the field of medical diagnostics.     

    After the talk students are invited to talk with Alisa in the Olin second floor lounge.  There will be Girl Scout cookies!
