• Stuff in Olin 211

    R2D2 seems to have left his belongings in Olin 211.  If anyone knows how to contact those responsible for said belongings, please ask them to remove this stuff from the lab.

  • Hertz Graduate Fellowship

    The Hertz Foundation is offering graduate fellowships for innovators in the applied physical, biological and engineering sciences. They are looking for applicants with exceptional creativity, a broad understanding of physical principles, and outstanding potential for innovative research. Preference is given to seniors and first year graduate students. The application deadline is October 29, 2010. Note that only general GRE scores are needed at this time.     September 21 (Tuesday) noon-1:00pm, LDC Shearer Dining Room
    Plan to have lunch with physics students, faculty and staff at the LDC at noon.  We can meet on 3rd Olin for the short walk over, or you can meet us there.
