  • Medical College of Wisconsin Open House

    The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences is hosting an open house on November 14th. There will be a welcome at 1:00pm followed by presentations, tours, and informational sessions on available Graduate programs.     David Rueda from Wayne State University will talk about single-molecule technique development to study biological systems.

  • Goodsell Observatory Open House

    November 6 (Friday), 7:00-9:00pm, Goodsell Observatory

    The usual first-Friday Goodsell Observatory Open House will be enhanced with some astronomy talks by Carleton astronomers. Join us for “Galileo and His Legacy,” including the first astronomical telescope and a modern family-friendly, inexpensive telescope named after him; and “What Carleton Astronomers Do Today.” If it is clear we will point the telescopes at stars, planets, and galaxies until 9 p.m. Dress warmly as the domes are not heated!
