The Rieser Fellowship is intended to help students pursue projects that explore emerging or critical issues at the intersection of science, global security, and public policy. It is an opportunity for the student to conduct a special research project or participate in an oversees conference.

Physics Table
January 5 (Thursday) 12:00-1:00 p.m., LDC 113
Plan to have lunch with physics students, faculty and staff at the LDC at noon. We can meet on 3rd Olin at 11:55 for the short walk to the dining hall or you can meet us there. All are welcome.

Goodsell Observatory Open House
There will be an Open House at Goodsell Observatory on Friday January 6, 7:00-9:00 pm if skies are clear. View stars, planets and nebula. Dress warmly! Cancelled if cloudy.
