PUGs (Physicists from Underrepresented Genders) strives to create a welcoming environment to support all students from underrepresented genders within the physics and astronomy department at Carleton College. We aim to promote equity, diversity, and activism for this community at Carleton and beyond. We host social events throughout the term and attend off-campus events.

Each year a group of students from PUGs attends the Conferences for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP), hosted by the American Physical Society for undergraduates.
