I have worked with several students to investigate various constructions in Mandarin. Below is work with Lydia Ding and Yining Rebecca Liu on infinitival clauses in Mandarin. I also worked with Yitong Chen and Nathaniel Chew on aspect markers.

    Coauthored with my students, Lydia Ding and Yining Rebecca Liu, this paper argues for the existence of subject control clauses in Mandarin.
