Welcome!
I am a professor in the linguistics department at Carleton College. I am a syntactician whose research focuses primarily on the interaction between syntax, morphology, and semantics. I have analyzed various constructions in Icelandic. Most recently, I’ve worked on a large-scale project which investigates the distribution and interpretation of ditransitive constructions in Icelandic and Faroese. I was the co-PI, along with Jóhannes Gísli Jónsson at the University of Iceland. This project was funded by Rannís; grant number 195926-051.
