What is the CSA Senate?
The Carleton Student Association Senate exists to advocate for student interests and support diverse programming that engages the entire student body.
Who awards the scholarship?
The scholarship is funded by CSA but is administered independently through the Student Financial Aid Office (not CSA).
Am I eligible?
The only requirement to apply is that you are currently receiving need-based financial aid from Carleton and that you have accepted all components of the package.
What is in the application?
Just a few very short questions–if you need to find your student ID (seven digits), check your student account statement on The Hub, or if you have a new OneCard, the back of your OneCard.
How many will be awarded?
Funding for this scholarship is limited, and the awards will be made based on financial need. This is determined by Student Financial Aid
How much is the award?
The scholarship provides $60 for each term on campus, for $180 in a typical year.
Can I use this money for anything else?
No, this funding is intended to help reduce the burden of the CSA Activity Fee.
