OnBase is a Content Services Platform, traditionally known as an institutional electronic document imaging and management application. It is used at Carleton to serve students, faculty, and staff.
OnBase allows us to store electronic documents and convert paper documents to electronic documents for storage and reference purposes, as well as share electronic documentation in a secure and efficient manner. Storing and accessing information within a valued context helps us to provide superior service to our students.
OnBase users at Carleton continually strive to find connections between department and office areas for information sharing. We do this through various forms of communication, including the Software Systems newsletter we publish.
If you have questions or would like further information regarding Carleton’s OnBase implementation, please contact Matt Wallace at mwallace@carleton.edu.
