Please join OIL as we launch the opening of Black at Carleton: 1966-1979, an exhibit of photos and artifacts celebrating the Black student experience during a pivotal time in Carleton's history. The exhibit will be on display during Black History Month, February 4-28, 2022.

WHAT: Black at Carleton Exhibit Opening
WHEN: Friday, February 4, 2022 at Noon (immediately following Black History Month Convocation)
WHERE: The Sayles-Hill Art Collection (Upper Sayles near the classrooms)
And don't miss Black History Month Convocation on Friday 2/4 with alumna Ramsey County Commissioner Toni Carter '75. Commissioner Carter will share how her experiences as a Black student at Carleton -- including a student bus trip to register voters in Mississippi -- influenced her work in education, the arts, and community-building.
