Carleton and HECUA: A Shared Commitment

As HECUA (Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs) celebrates its 50th anniversary, the organization is highlighting the institutions who were part of its founding — and who remain integral to their mission to this day. This feature highlights the partnership between HECUA and Carleton. The late US Senator Paul Wellstone helped to establish HECUA in 1971 while he was a Carleton faculty member.
