Food, Forests & Resilience in Oaxaca, Mexico WB22 Information Session

Thu, February 17, 2022 • 5:00pm - 6:00pm (1h) • Leighton 236

This winter break program will explore human-nature relationships around food and forestry in Mexico and Minnesota. The program will emphasize an interdisciplinary approach to “knowing our neighbors” both locally and globally to compare and contrast approaches to building socio-ecological resilience in the Global North and Global South. Students will visit farms and forestry projects in rural Minnesota and Oaxaca and apply anthropological and ecological approaches to understanding these systems to appreciate the relationships between culture and conservation.

Please join us for an information session about the Winter Break 2022 Food, Forests, and Resilience in Oaxaca, Mexico program! Thursday, February 17th @ 5:00pm in Leighton 236.
