Off-Campus Study Participation hits 78%
78% of the class of 2014 participated in off-campus study programs. They studied on 130 programs in 53 different countries. The majority (63%) studied on Carleton seminars and break programs, 34% participated in a wide variety of other non-Carleton programs, and the remaining 3% studied on consortia programs, such as ACM, AKP, HECUA, and ISLE.
Just a few highlights:
Of the 375 participating students –
- 81% went on one program, 18% on two programs, and 1% participated in three programs
- 60% were juniors, 30% were sophomores, and 10% were seniors
- 59% were women and 41% were men
For the academic year 2013-14, 20% of the student body (408 students) participated in off-campus studies. As with the class year, 63% studied on Carleton seminars and break programs, 34% participated in a wide variety of other non-Carleton programs, and the remaining 3% studied on consortia programs, such as ACM, AKP, HECUA, and ISLE.
