The Off-Campus Studies Office is proud to sponsor the 33rd annual photo contest for students who participated in an off-campus academic program, international internship, or fellowship abroad!
With seven distinct categories, student photographs have many opportunities to win. The Off-Campus Studies office sponsors the People, Place, and Stories awards, while Gould Library sponsors Libraries of the World, Bon Appétit sponsors Food of the World, and College Communications sponsors Carls Off-Campus. The People’s Choice award is chosen by members of the Carleton community once the submission window for the 2018-2019 photo contest closes and the opportunity to vote for their favorite photo opens. Student winners receive a variety of great prizes.
The off-campus experience is unique to each and every Carl. After returning from international travel, students interact with what they have seen, learned, and encountered through writing about the most interesting aspects of their trip, engaging in further research on the field-research they began abroad, and anything else they can think of. The photo contest is just one way for returning students to engage once more with their time abroad.
