HECUA seeks a part-time, creative, detail-oriented Program Assistant for the Partners Internship Program (PIP) in Minneapolis/Saint Paul. This position provides primary administrative support to the Partners Internship Program, a grant program funded by the Otto Bremer Foundation and administered by HECUA, which provides paid summer internship opportunities linking nonprofit organization and undergraduate students in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Northwestern Wisconsin. This position ensures the smooth operation and communication for this program including marketing, outreach, and communication with organizations and students and attendance and coordination of internship seminars and some site visits. The ideal candidate will have an interest in gaining program experience working with nonprofit organizations, undergraduate students, and progressive grant making.

Qualifications: B.A., B.S., or equivalent, familiarity with nonprofit organizations, internship experience, strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), Cross-cultural/intercultural experience and grasp of diversity issues, well-organized and detail-oriented; able to handle multiple tasks, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Macintosh computers, data entry experience, must have own transportation and the ability to travel in greater MN, North Dakota and Northwestern Wisconsin.
