Last Wednesday, we took a 40-minute train ride to Hampton Court Palace, where royals such as Henry VIII and William and Mary stayed in past centuries. Pictured here is the Base Court, the first sight to see when we passed through the gatehouse (as you can tell, it was quite cold and rainy that day).
