Abbey Ruins and Arthur's Seat

The Queen’s palace at Holyroodhouse contains the ruins of an abbey that was built in the 12th century. Visitors to the palace gardens get a beautiful view of the abbey in front of Arthur’s Seat, the main peak of the surrounding hills.
