Eighth Week

2 March 2014

Hello from London!

Eighth week has blown hot and cold for us here in the UK. We were treated to some remarkable history and mind-blowing theater in Stratford-upon-Avon, but we were recently struck with a loss with which many of us are still coming to terms. The dichotomous nature of the week has left us with a wide range of blog posts. You’ve likely already enjoyed Trent’s night out with half the cast of Wolf Hall, Jeremy’s account of learning to love the stage adaptations of the Mantell novels, and Andy’s demonstration of the programming language “Shakespeare.” We hope Ellen’s story of her brush with RSC fame will brighten up your day, Claire’s narrative on Bath will give you a closer look at one of our day trips, and Maddy’s piece on the loss of James, Paxton, and Michael will help you with your pain just as it’s helped us with ours. We’ve also got a score of sketches and photos to keep you updated on our goings-on.

Thanks for checking in! Take care of yourselves, and be sure to reach out to those who care about you.
