Dates
Carleton programs start and end within a few days of the Carleton term. Specific dates will be communicated to program participants. Do not purchase plane tickets until dates have been announced by your faculty director and OCS.
Fees
For Carleton term-length programs, students are billed Carleton’s comprehensive fee for the term which covers the costs of instruction, lodging, meals, excursions, transportation, medical and evacuation insurance, travel assistance, and cultural events. Students are responsible for passports and visas (when required), books and supplies, transportation to and from the program sites, and personal expenses during the program.
For Carleton break programs, the cost of the program is covered by Carleton, but students are responsible for passports and visas (when required), books and supplies, transportation to and from the program sites, some meals, and personal expenses during the program.
Students will receive a program-specific Additional Cost Estimate at the time of acceptance. Financial aid applies as on campus for term-length programs and need-based scholarships are available for all programs by application.
