Will Betke-Brunswick ’11 publishes graphic memoir
Betke-Brunswick studied geology and mathematics at Carleton.
Tin House recently published a graphic memoir from Will Betke-Brunswick ’11, titled “A Pros and Cons List for Strong Feelings.” The graphic novel concerns Betke-Brunswick’s relationship with their mother and covers the 10 months when she was dying after she was diagnosed with cancer during Betke-Brunswick’s sophomore year at Carleton. The book concludes with Betke-Brunswick returning after their leave of absence from college to join fellow Carls on the Geology in New Zealand off-campus studies trip.
