Steven Schier, the Dorothy H. and Edward C. Congdon Professor of Political Science, was quoted an October 13 San Jose (Ca.) Mercury News articled titled “Schwarzenegger fame means clout — but that will get him only so far.” Schier commented on the example of former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura. “He had transformed himself from Arnold Schwarzenegger to Gray Davis.”
