Star Tribune honors Fred Easter
Easter served many roles at Carleton, including Assistant Director of Admissions, Director of Black Activities, Director of Project ABC (“A Better Chance”) and Associate Dean of Students, among others.
The Star Tribune recently published a story in their obituary section about Fred Easter, who passed away in Sept., about three years after he was diagnosed with cancer. A hugely influential figure at Carleton in the 1960s and 1970s, Easter will have a memorial service in the college’s Skinner Chapel on Nov. 5.
