Professor Kaz Skubi ’11 publishes article in Inorganic Chemistry
Skubi studied chemistry at Carleton and is currently assistant professor of chemistry at Carleton.
Kaz Skubi ’11, assistant professor of chemistry, published an article in Inorganic Chemistry titled, “Mössbauer and Nuclear Resonance Vibrational Spectroscopy Studies of Iron Species Involved in N–N Bond Cleavage.” This article is the culmination of more than 10 years of work across multiple research labs—and multiple continents—to understand a complex mechanism that splits the N–N bond in atmospheric dinitrogen.
