Laura Bloedorn ’03 was featured in three New York articles. On November 3, she was mentioned in a New York Times article titled “New York City Marathon: Aiming for Olympics” and a Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle article titled “N.Y.C. no jog in park for Bloedorn.” She also was featured in a November 6 Democrat and Chronicle article titled “Running: Cross country honors stars tonight.” Bloedorn, a former sprinter, led all Rochester-area women in the recent New York Marathon and was the ninth American in a field of 35,000 finishers. Bloedorn was a biology major and two-time All-American at Carleton.
