Jimmy Chin ’96 and his team from National Geographic recently discovered the remains of Andrew “Sandy” Irvine on Mount Everest. Irvine was with George Mallory, whose body was discovered in 1999, on an Everest expedition in 1933, 20 years before Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached Everest’s summit.
