The “Campfire” light fixture is a fixture of Evelyn M. Anderson Hall. The color-changing tubes that make up “Campfire” changes the color and the mood of the small study space beneath it usually filled with two cozy chairs and a partially played giant Jenga set.

The fixture, designed and installed by Wendy Evans Joseph from Studio Joseph in New York City, recently won a design award from the Society of American Registered Architects (SARA).

Evelyn M. Anderson Hall, opened in 2019 and formally dedicated October 29, 2021, houses the archeology, chemistry, biochemistry, geology, and physics departments.
