Dan Maxbauer publishes paper with several Carls for Frontiers in Climate journal
Maxbauer is assistant professor of geology at Carleton.
Dan Maxbauer, assistant professor of geology, published a paper with several former students — Ella Milliken ’22 (biology), Jaren Yambing ’22 (geology), Emma Watson ’23 (chemistry/geology), Rachel Gregg ’25 (geology), and Liza Swanson ’25 (geology/Spanish/statistics and data science) — in a special section on carbon dioxide removal in the journal, Frontiers in Climate. The study evaluates the effectiveness of mineral weathering as a strategy for carbon dioxide removal in croplands during a three-year field experiment conducted at Carleton.
