Chihade publishes review in biochemistry journal

Joe Chihade, Professor of Chemistry, recently published a mini-review in the Journal of Biological Chemistry with colleagues from the University of Strasbourg. The paper, titled “When a common biological role does not imply common disease outcomes: Disparate pathology linked to human mitochondrial aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases,” discusses recent work at Carleton and in many labs around the world on understanding how mutations in these essential enzymes cause a variety of heritable diseases.
