Charlie Cogan ’82 published a piece titled, “My immigrant coworkers have taught me about the American story of a grandfather I never met” in Mshale, the African community newspaper for the Twin Cities.
“When we listen to the voices of immigrants,” he argues, “we hear not just their stories but our own stories and the echoes of America’s enduring promise.”
