Carpenter presents on politics in french poetry

Scott Carpenter, Professor of French, recently presented a paper entitled “Getting to Know You: Identity Politics in ‘La Belle Dorothée'” at the Society of Dix-Neuviémistes. At the same venue, he participated in a round table discussion about “Baudelaire and ‘other people’.”
