Caroline Turnage-Butterbaugh, associate professor of mathematics and statistics, published “A Mean value theorem for Dirichlet polynomials associated with primitive Dirichlet L-functions” with her collaborator, Siegfed Baluyot from Eastern Carolina University, in International Mathematics Research Notices. The article is a product of an NSF Focused Research Group (DMS-1854398) at the American Institute of Mathematics, on which Turnage-Butterbaugh was a senior scientist consult and Baluyot a postdoctoral researcher.
