Carol Ormand, Science Education and Resource Associate at the Science Education Resource Center, gave a talk titled “Ten Years of SILC Research on Spatial Thinking and Learning in Geoscience: What We’ve Learned and Produced” and presented a poster titled “The Spatial Thinking Workbook: Developing Students’ Spatial Thinking Skills in Upper-level Undergraduate Geology Courses Through Curricular Materials Based on Cognitive Science Research” at the recent Geological Society of America (GSA) Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado.
