Carleton’s Second Wind Turbine Plans Featured in Star Tribune

Carleton’s plans for installing a second wind turbine was featured in the Monday, Feb. 23 edition of the Star Tribune. The article looks at Carleton and St. Olaf’s wind turbines, which are identical, and wonders in a fun way if there is a “green rivalry” between the two Northfield schools. It’s not a competition, said Chris Erickson ’08, Carleton ENTS educational associate, and others at both schools. The colleges share an interest in renewable energy, and they’ve traded ideas about the turbines.
