Unigo notes, “Carleton students seem almost universally happy with both the academics and their student body at large. Classes are small and very challenging, and professors are always accessible to students in the off-hours. Intellectual discussions permeate social conversations in the dorms and at parties, yet the student body remains wholly uncompetitive with one another. Carleton’s remarkable academic reputation is one of its major attractions. Students are almost unanimously pleased with the breadth and depth of classes available in all fields and emphatically praise the faculty.”
