Carleton Art Department Presents Senior Art Show
The annual Spring Senior Art Show, which opened on May 16, continues daily until Saturday, June 14. This year’s show, titled “Postpartum,” features diverse contributions from the Class of 2003’s studio art majors.
Northfield, Minn-The annual Carleton College Spring Senior Art Show, which opened on May 16, continues daily until Saturday, June 14, the day of Carleton’s Commencement ceremony. This year’s show, titled “Postpartum,” features diverse contributions from the Class of 2003’s studio art majors.
Fourteen students have chosen to display art that developed out of their senior comprehensive projects completed earlier this year. Some students are displaying entirely new work.
The show offers a wide range of artistic mediums, including sculpture, ceramics, video production, painting and jewelry.
Although the majority of the show can be found in Carleton’s Art Gallery, student art is also being displayed in Hulings Hall and Boliou Hall. These buildings, adjacent to the Gallery, are open daily from 8 a.m.- 9 p.m.
The Carleton College Art Gallery is located in the Music and Drama Center lower level near First and Winona streets. It is open Monday through Wednesday from noon -6 p.m., Thursday and Friday from noon -10 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from noon -4 p.m. For more information and disability accommodations, please call (507) 646-4469.
