Betsy Johnson ’73 featured in Salem Statesman Journal

Betsy Johnson ’73 was featured in a January 21 Salem (Ore.) Statesman Journal articled titled “Governor swears in new senator.” Johnson was appointed to the Oregon state senate by governor Ted Kulongoski. Johnson had been a state representative from Scappoose, Ore. since 2001, following in the footsteps of her father who had served seven terms as a state representative from Redmond. Johnson majored in history at Carleton.
