Ben Ansbacher ’26, Malachy Guzman ’25, Arjendu Pattanayak publish paper in systems biology journal
Ansbacher is double majoring in mathematics and physics, Guzman majored in mathematics, and Pattanayak is professor of physics at Carleton.
Ben Ansbacher ’26, Malachy Guzman ’25, and Professor of Physics Arjendu Pattanayak published their paper, “Mapping gene expression dynamics to developmental phenotypes,” in Nature‘s npj Systems Biology and Applications journal with their collaborator Jordi Garcia-Ojalvo of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona).
Ansbacher and Guzman were supported by Carleton’s Eugster and Towsley funds, and Guzman by the Fulbright foundation. Pattanayak was supported by Carleton’s Presidential Fellowship and the Helms fund.
