Beckwith organizes seminar for Spanish literature and film

Stacy Beckwith, Professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies, co-organized a seminar, ‘Genealogías de Sefarad’ (Genealogies of Sepharad, or Medieval Jewish Spain), for the fourth biennial meeting of the Association for 21st Century Spanish Literature and Film held in Zaragoza, Spain, July 3 through 7. Stacy’s paper for the seminar was titled, ‘El inmaculado retorno: descendientes sefardíes imprevistos en la narrativa española actual’ (Immaculate Return: Unexpected Sephardic Descendants in Contemporary Spanish Literature).
