Alyssa Alvarez ’26 selected as 2024–25 Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellow

Alyssa Alvarez ’26 has been selected as a 2024–25 Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellow. Newman Civic Fellows are an inspiring group of community-committed students from across the country who are already making an impact in communities where they live, learn, and contribute. Alvarez’s community engagement has included leading a collaboration with Sharing Our Roots, a nonprofit regenerative agriculture organization focused on immigrant, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and emerging farmers and community gardeners.
