Alex Knodell, director of archaeology and professor of classics, published an article in the Journal of Mediterranean Archaeology titled, “Comparison and Connections in the Archaeology of Small islands in Greece.”

Spatial analyses of island size, connectivity, and marginality also suggest a robust (though not determinative) role for biogeographic approaches to small-island histories.
