Alex Knodell, associate professor of classics and director of archaeology, was recently featured in the Tides of History podcast, in an episode titled “Greece after the Bronze Age Collapse.” The discussion ranged from Knodell’s recent book, “Societies in Transition in Early Greece: An Archaeological History,” to how we understand past landscapes and community organization to certain misconceptions about this period, including the “dark age” moniker often ascribed to it.
