Francine Legba ’23, Carleton Grants Office and Northfield Public Library partnership receive Campus Compact awards
Iowa and Minnesota Campus Compact strengthens the capacity of colleges and universities to fulfill the public purposes of higher education through its network of 56 campuses.
Francine Legba ’23 received the Campus Compact Presidents’ Student Leadership Award for her collaborative approach to addressing public issues, effective community building and integration of civic engagement into the college experience.
The Carleton Grants Office has received the Campus Compact Presidents’ Civic Engagement Leadership Award for supporting others’ civic and community engagement and working to institutionalize a culture and practice of engagement.
The Northfield Public Library bilingual services program has received the Campus Compact Presidents’ Community Partner Award for its development of sustained, reciprocal partnerships with Carleton, thus enriching educational as well as community outcomes.
