Kathryn Stewart ’86 recognized as New York State Master Teacher

Kathryn Stewart ’86 was recently recognized as a New York State (NYS) Master Teacher. She is a math teacher at New Paltz High School (NPHS) in New Paltz, N.Y. The NYS Master Teacher Program is a professional network of more than 1,400 outstanding public school teachers who share a passion for learning and teaching in STEM. During her four-year commitment to the program, Stewart will collaborate with other Master Teachers from around the state, sharing best practices and working to raise New York’s level of STEM instruction.
