Jake Morton and Austin Mason publish article in ExArc Journal

Morton is assistant professor of classics and Mason is digital humanities director and digital arts and humanities lecturer in history at Carleton.

Jake Morton, assistant professor of classics, and Austin Mason, digital humanities director and digital arts and humanities lecturer in history, published an article in the ExArc Journal titled “Launching an Experimental Archaeology Course at the Undergraduate Level.”

The article grew out of ARCN 222: Experimental Archaeology & Experiential History, a Carleton course they recently developed with Alex Knodell, associate professor of classics and director of archaeology. Student lab reports from the course’s first two iterations can be found on Carleton’s website.
