Pierce McDonnell ’21 wins Foreign Students Chinese Public Speaking Competition
McDonnell studied history and mathematics at Carleton.
Pierce McDonnell ’21, now an International Chinese Language Program (ICLP) student at National Taiwan University, participated in the Foreign Students Chinese Public Speaking Competition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei on Nov. 8. He won first prize with his commentary on religious belief in Taiwan.
