Lyle McCaffrey ’25 places second in ultra-distance cycling race
McCaffrey is a current sophomore at Carleton.
Lyle McCaffrey ’25 competed in the Gray Duck Grit ultra-distance cycling race this past weekend. The race started the night of Friday, Oct. 14 and rode into the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 15. Lyle placed second in the 222-mile distance category, with a total moving time of just over 18 hours—much of it spent in below-freezing temperatures.
