Professor Juliane Schicker publishes essay on burnout
The German professor’s work concerns the effects of burnout on women, particularly working women and mothers, as well as issues surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion.
As part of her recent research and pedagogical work into the effects of burnout on women, and particularly working women and mothers, Assistant Professor of German Juliane Schicker published a post, titled “Her View From Work: One Professor’s Thoughts on Burnout and Questions of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” on the blog of the initiative Diversity, Decolonization, and the German Curriculum, one of the sources that Carleton’s German program has been using to engage with IDE work.
