Carleton Among Top 20 in Study Abroad Numbers

Carleton sent 342 students on study abroad programs last year, which ranks the College 17th among baccalaureate schools. Goodman, president of the Institute of International Education, says, “…for students here, there is a new reality: that Americans ought to discover the world. Virtually every college president and dean is saying that an international experience ought to be part of a college education.”
