Governor Pawlenty Gives Opening Convocation Speech

To celebrate the beginning of the new academic year, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty addressed a standing room-only crowd at opening convocation at the College’s Skinner Memorial Chapel.

Carleton began its 130th year with the start of classes and traditional opening convocation on Monday, Sept. 15. To celebrate the beginning of the new academic year, Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty addressed a standing room-only crowd at the College’s Skinner Memorial Chapel.

As part of the celebration, students were recognized for various academic honors from the previous year. These students are listed below.
