Nathan Grawe (economics) quoted in Saint Paul Pioneer Press
Nathan Grawe, assistant professor of economics, was quoted in a July 23 Saint Paul Pioneer Press story titled “Minnesota’s Hispanic population grows at rapid pace.”
According to census data, “Poverty went down and immigration numbers went up—that’s surprising,” Grawe said. “What that suggests to me is that the economy was clicking along at an incredible rate. The ’90s was a good time and the success of the ’90s was experienced by a very broad population.”
